The short version
14 days on unopened bottles · 48 hours on damaged shipments · Full refund on genuine quality issues · No questions asked on essential-oil sensitivities. Custom blends from Brew Lab are not returnable.
1. Unopened bottles — 14 days
If your bottle is still sealed (factory seal intact) and you change your mind within 14 days of delivery, we'll accept it back.
- You cover return shipping (₹70-₹150 depending on courier)
- Refund issued within 5 business days of receipt to your original payment method
- If you paid Cash on Delivery, refund goes to your UPI
2. Damaged or leaked on arrival
If the bottle arrives broken, leaking, or with packaging damage:
- WhatsApp us within 48 hours of delivery with photos
- We arrange free pickup and replacement (no return shipping charge)
- Replacement ships within 2 business days
3. Quality issues after opening
We stand behind every batch. If you receive an oil that:
- Smells off or rancid (not the natural seed smell, but spoiled)
- Has visible contamination or separation
- Doesn't match the published Certificate of Analysis
WhatsApp us with photos. If we agree the issue is genuine, we'll refund or replace with no return shipping charge.
4. Skin reactions / sensitivities
Despite always doing patch-tests, individual reactions can happen — especially with essential oils. If you have an allergic or sensitivity reaction:
- Stop using the oil immediately
- Consult a dermatologist if reaction is severe
- WhatsApp us — we'll refund the bottle even if it's been opened
This is a no-questions-asked policy for legitimate skin sensitivities.
5. Brew Lab custom blends
Custom blends are made-to-order from your recipe. Once we've brewed it, we can't restock it. So:
- We always WhatsApp you to verify the formula before brewing — this is your chance to correct anything
- Once brewed, custom blends are not returnable for "changed my mind"
- Quality issues with a custom blend are still covered under section 3
6. Bundles & multi-bottle orders
If you ordered a bundle and only one bottle has an issue, we handle that bottle individually (return / refund / replace). The rest of the bundle remains yours.
7. International orders
International returns work similarly but customer pays return shipping (which can be substantial). For most international quality issues, we issue partial or full refund without requiring physical return, to save you cost.
8. How to start a return

- We confirm and send return shipping address (if needed)
- Pack the bottle in original packaging, ship via any tracked courier
- Refund processed within 5 business days of receipt
9. Refund timing by payment method
- UPI: 1-2 business days after we process the refund
- Credit/Debit card: 5-7 business days (depends on bank)
- Net banking: 3-5 business days
- COD orders: refunded to your UPI within 2 business days after we receive the return
10. What we will NOT refund
- Open bottles returned without a quality or sensitivity issue
- Bottles damaged after delivery due to user error (broken in shower, etc.)
- Brew Lab custom blends where the formula was confirmed before brewing
- Shipping charges (unless we shipped wrong product or damaged)
- Orders returned after 14 days from delivery (unless there's a quality issue)
